Hola family and friends,
I have just recently finished recording a bunch of songs as part of this project I’ve been messing with on and off for the last 6 months or so. I would like to share them with you, my most valued humans.
All noises made in these audio clips have been produced by a combo of my diaphragm and vocal folds or me playing my guitar or MIDI keyboard. If it so pleases you, the songs are available on Spotify, as well as for free download on this website.
All of these songs are cover songs (I didn’t write them, even though most of the instrumentation was devised by me) and thus they are the intellectual property of their respective writers (The Social Experiment, Rex Orange County, Sticky Fingers, Frank Ocean and The Isley Brothers). I chose them because i found them to be especially relevant to the experiences of my life of late. I would encourage you to listen to the original songs and the projects/albums that they’re from because they’re all bops.
Thank you to my darling talented sister, Amberly, for creating the awesome album artwork for me. She put in a lot of time and I think the end result looks really cool.
I would encourage you to listen all the way through, it’s not long. But if you only have time to listen to one go with Laika because mum reckons it is the best.
If you have over-ear headphones, I would advise you to use them when listening to these as the sound quality is much better 🙂
I’m working on some original music currently and a couple of other different things that will pop up on this website sporadically so if you like what you see/hear with this first release stay tuned. You could even make this website your homepage on your browser or summin, up to you.
Thanks for your support, it’s much appreciated,
Mitch <3
PS: Turn the volume up on track 5, don’t know why its quieter.
PPS: I have the vocal range of a 9 year-old, I’m aware of this, I’m rolling with it, don’t @ me.
it’s good
